Dr. Victoria Ndinelago Erasmus holds a Doctor of Philosophy in fisheries science from Rhodes University, South Africa. She also has a Masters of science in Biology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Molecular and Physiological Biology, from the University of Namibia. Erasmus has over ten years of research experience in the field of marine science. Her research interest includes fisheries management, ocean governance, blue economy, climate change, aquaculture, and marine pollution. Dr. Erasmus has also been involved in various projects aimed at improving food security and promoting fish consumption. She is also a post-graduate student supervisor at the University of Namibia and the International University of Management, Namibia. Dr. Erasmus is the author of several children's books, including Little Monkfish Makes a Wish, a book about ocean literacy.
