Dr. Stian Nordengen Christensen is Minister Counsellor and Acting Head of Mission of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Pretoria, where he has been posted since 2021. Christensen has been a career diplomat in the Norwegian foreign service since 2005, with previous postings in Sudan, Ethiopia and Palestine. He holds a PhD in history and philosophy and a master’s degree in law.
