Stefanie is the Co-Founder and Vice-Chairperson of the Environmental Lawyers Network of Namibia. She holds a General Law Masters specializing in Environmental Law from the University of Cape Town and recently obtained a further Advanced Masters in Energy Law from the North Sea Energy Law Partnership, which is hosted jointly by the Universities of Oslo, Aberdeen, Groningen and Copenhagen. During her studies, Stefanie focused on important topics impacting the energy industry, including local content, the establishment of sovereign wealth funds and the electrification of offshore platforms.

Professionally, Stefanie is an attorney practicing at ENS | Namibia, where she specialises in energy and environmental law, as well as project development in respect of major infrastructure projects. She also advises her clients on how they can integrate ESG considerations into their business practices and address ESG risks which may arise during the course of their operations.
