Senior executive with extensive leadership experience in QHSE, HR, Operations and commercial management, mainly in the Oil and Gas sector. With experience in driving change and restructuring, with a passion for team building and developing their skills.   

Currently the Commercial Director of SONILS, a Sonangol company (Angola NOC), and over sees sales, customer relations, efficiency and business development, among other key functions of the company. 

Prior to current position at SONILS, Joaquim was Deputy Operations Director at SONILS, driving operations efficiency by restructuring and installing processes and systems, including corporate HSE performance. 

Also performed for SLB, where he developed his expertise in the Oil and Gas sector through various roles and responsibilities, from Oilfield Technical to Management roles, such as operations, QHSE, T&D Systems Integration and HR.
