Ebson Uanguta has been serving as interim Managing Director of NAMCOR since 11 January 2024, following his secondment from the country’s central bank (Bank of Namibia) where he is Deputy Governor.

The University of Addis Ababa Masters of Economics graduate also holds a number of executive education qualification from renowned institutions such as the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard Business School, and the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Mr. Uanguta's illustrious career includes other senior management cadre portfolios Director of Research (Bank of Namibia), and Advisor to the Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C. He also serves on various national and regional boards, showcasing his dedication to advancing socio-economic and financial matters.
