Mr Andrew Kanime is the Chief Executive Officer of the Namibian Ports Authority (Namport), the national operator for Namibia’s two ports of Walvis Bay and Lüderitz.

The ports are strategically located on the West Coast of Africa, serving the local Namibian market and the core hinterland markets in the Southern Africa Development Community region.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), an Honours degree in Accounting and Finance as well as three undergraduate qualifications in the fields of Business Management, Human Resources and Public Administration. He has extensive corporate and leadership experience, which he has gathered over the years in the banking, telecommunications, broadcasting, energy, transport and logistics sectors.

He has served on boards of various major utilities and public enterprises in the country. Andrew is a renowned business leader who is actively involved in various forums that focuses on the development and enhancement of service delivery in the logistics and transport sector in the country and the region.
