Ms. “Derin Fajuyitan brings over 22 years of Global Banking Experience and has taken on leadership roles in Project Finance, Commercial Banking & Consulting Services.
Ms. Fajuyitan holds an MSc in International Securities, Investment & Banking from the ISMA Centre (now ICMA Centre), at the University of Reading, U.K and a Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance.

Further to joining Afreximbank in 2012, she has participated in structuring and financing project finance transactions including a cumulative portfolio size of USD 3 billion in upstream and downstream oil & gas assets; and across other sectors such as extractives, power and heavy manufacturing.

Ms. Fajuyitan is passionate about Africa and takes pride in her role to serve the continent in the several capacities she has held and in ways that improve the social and economic welfare of the 53 African member countries of Afreximbank. Ms. Fajuyitan is also a women and children’s advocate, supporting initiatives to empower women in setting up businesses and the education of the girl child in Africa.
