As the most discussed oil and gas frontier on the planet with recent finds by TotalEnergies and Shell, in partnership with NAMCOR, the Namibia Oil and Gas Conference has been created by a committee with the objective to drive investment and expertise into Namibia. With local content at the core of the programme, Namibia is set to develop a future of socioeconomic growth off the back of oil and gas success.

NAMCOR and the event partners are calling on all companies throughout the oil and gas value chain to convene in Windhoek to showcase best practices, products, and solutions to ensure Namibia benefits from its rich hydrocarbon potential.

The country’s extensive hydrocarbons market presents an unparalleled opportunity for global investors to sign deals and partnerships as well as driving Africa’s market expansion. 

Against this background, the conference will bring together key role players in Namibia and the international oil and gas value chain, to exchange views on the potential opportunities and challenges in establishing the oil and gas sector in Namibia. In this sense, the conference will discuss issues around investment opportunities, financing, value chains, and infrastructure, identify the required skills, employment creation as well as economic participation of local communities.
